By using Resume Builder ("the service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Resume Builder provides a free online resume builder with AI-powered writing assistance, cover letter generation, job tracking, interview preparation, and related career tools. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

2. Your Content

You own all content you create using the service (your resumes, cover letters, and portfolio content). You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and does not infringe on the rights of others.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to create fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI features
  • Use automated tools to create bulk resumes or abuse rate limits
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise service security

4. AI Features

AI-generated content is provided as a writing aid only. You are responsible for reviewing all AI suggestions before using them. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.

5. Free Service and Limits

The service is provided free of charge subject to fair usage limits (2 resumes per month, AI improvement limits, etc.). We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time. Abusive use may result in access being restricted.

6. Data and Privacy

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that resumes created with our tool will result in employment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Builder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
